Reporting on Messages
The management console automatically produces statistical reports on Message activities that help you to analyze the success of a Message. The following types of Message reports are available. Not all of these reports are applicable to all Message types.
- Sent Message Report shows a breakdown of sent messages and responses for any transmissions of this Message.
- Message Click-Through Report shows a breakdown of link click-through statistics for this message.
- Message Activity Report shows the number of unique links clicked by each Contact who responded to this Message.
- Message Forwarding Report shows a summary of forwarded Messages.
- Message Response Time shows the period in which contacts responded to this message after it was sent.
To view a Message report
- From the Component List, click the Message you would like to view.
- Click the Modify button from the Action Bar.
- A Component window will be launched displaying the Content view.
- From the View Bar, click Reports.
- The Message Reports view will be loaded. Click the report you would like to view. The report will be loaded in a new window.
Each message Report allows you to specify which transmission to display results for.
To specify the transmission
- From the Transmission list, click the transmission you wish to report on or click All Transmissions to report on all transmissions.
- Click the View button.
- The report will be loaded.
Each Message report contains a summary section with the following information:

Displays the name of the Message that is currently being reported on.

Transmission

Displays the transmission of the Message that is currently being reported on.

Format
|
Describes the format of the report and if applicable, the number of links in the Message.

Unique Contacts
|
Displays the number of unique Contacts this Message was sent to in this transmission or transmissions.
|
Total Messages
|
This is the total number of Messages sent in this transmission or transmissions.

In most reports, you can click on an item to view further details.
