Promotion Targeting

Promotion targeting criteria allows you to select Contacts by testing the number of times a Contact has entered a promotion or the number of prizes Contact has won.

Filter Criteria - Promotion targeting

The Promotion targeting criteria allows you to specify the following elements:

Element

What it does

The Contact

Specifies what will be checked for each Contact. There are several options:

  • Has any entries checks the total number of valid and invalid entries for a Contact.
  • Has invalid entries checks the number of valid entries for a Contact.
  • Has valid entries checks the number of invalid entries for a Contact.
  • Has won prizes checks the number of prizes won by a Contact.
  • Has not won prizes checks if the contact has not won any prizes.

Promotion

Allows you to select the Promotion that you would like to match on.

Operator

Allows you to select one how the N field will be matched.

N

The N text box allows you to specify the number of times that you would like to compare, using the specified operator, against the promotion.

The different operators for field targeting criteria are detailed in the following table:

Operator

What it does

=

True when the Contact field is equal to the specified number of times.

<>

True when the Contact field is not equal to the specified number of times.

>

True when the Contact field is greater than the specified number of times.

>=

True when the Contact field is greater than or equal to the specified number of times.

<

True when the Contact field is less than the specified number of times.

<=

True when the Contact field is less than or equal to the specified number of times.
