Question Types

Surveys support 6 different question types for recording different types of responses from participants.

Additionally, you can also add an HTML section, which is not a true question, but allows you to add HTML formatted content to your survey.

On all question types you can optionally include a Comments option. This allows participant to type additional comments on the question.

Selection and Matrix questions also allow you optionally specify an Other option. This allows a participant to type a custom answer to a question if an applicable one is not available from the supplied options.

The question type that you use in a Survey determines both how the question is presented to the participant and also how the response data is stored.
