Email Action

An Email action allows you to send an event enabled email Message to the contact. For example, you could send an email with a PDF brochure attached, or with a link to a survey on a website.

In addition to the standard action fields, an Email action also has an Email field which allows you to specify which email Message to send.

To specify an email Message

Txt Service Action - Email

  1. Click the Message Selector Find Component button to display the Select Component Message dialog.
  2. Click the Message you wish to use and click the Select button.
  3. Click the Save button on the Action window.

Alternatively, you can create a new simple email Message just for this action. Only basic Message functionality is supported.

To create a new Message

  1. Click the Message Selector Find Component button to display the Select Component Message dialog.
  2. Click the New button on the Action Bar.
  3. The New Message Component window will be loaded.

    As this is a simple email Message, you only need to define a Name for the Message and the Message content.
