Mail Action

A Mail action allows you to send an event enabled postal mail Message to the Contact. For example, you could send a brochure or a product sample in the mail.

In addition to the standard action fields, a Mail action also requires that you specify the fulfillment method to collect the data for processing.

There are two methods supported:

• Download data can be manually downloaded from the management console.
• Emailed Batch data can be automatically emailed to the specified recipients at the specified frequency.

Regardless of the method selected, a new simple mail Message is created with the same name as the action. This can be viewed from the Messages view within the management console.
