Editing a Web Document's Content

When you open a web document to modify content you will be modifying the draft version. Changes can be made to the draft version without affecting what is displayed on the web site. In order for your saved changes to be visible, the document must first be published.

To edit an existing web document

  1. From the Site Manager Website view, click the folder you wish to view web documents from.
  2. From the Component List, click the web document you would like to modify.
  3. Click the Modify button on the Action Bar.
  4. A Component window will be launched displaying the Content view.
  5. Using the WYSIWYG editor you can modify the page content. If you wish to edit the HTML directly, click the Toggle Source WYSIWYG - Toggle Source button in the bottom left of the view to toggle between HTML source and WYSIWYG editors.
  6. Click the Save button. The web document's summary view will be loaded.

Content (including images and attachments) can be restored from a previously published version of the document. You can then make any further changes to the content before re-publishing.
