Meta Data

Each web document can have meta data defined. This allows you to specify key information for a document, that can then be used in the page output. There are four meta data fields:

  • Title
  • Keywords
  • Publish Date
  • Description

How the meta data is used in the page output is usually determined by the document's template. For example, a template may determine that a title for a page is made up of the title as determined in the meta settings and prefixed with the website url.

To view meta data

  1. From the web document's Component window, click the Meta view.
  2. The Meta view will be displayed.
