Mobile Optin Txt Service

A Mobile Optin service allows a new or existing Contact to opt-in to receive communications from you by sending a SMS message from their mobile phone or other device.

A Contact can send an SMS with the keyword Join or Quit to a configured shortcode. This sets or clears the mobile activation flag on that Contact's record.

For example, if you defined a keyword SNACK, a contact could send an SMS message saying JOIN SNACK. This would set the mobile activation flag on their record and execute any applicable Response Actions.

  2. Define Keywords and the shortcodes to determine which keywords this Txt Service should check for.
  3. Publish Txt Service to make it available to process incoming response messages.
  4. Test the Txt Service to ensure that the responses processing and logic is working as desired.
