Txt4Info Txt Service

txt4info - how it works

Txt4Info lets your Contacts (new or existing) request information, brochures, samples and vouchers from you, by sending a SMS message from their mobile phone or other device.

The most common channel to send information to Contacts is via email, however SMS, mail and callback are also supported.

Txt4Info Txt Services can be used in many generic ways. For example, by defining different keywords it could be used for voting or a poll, or by defining appropriate Response Actions it can be used for competition entry.

Each response to a Txt Service has a status recorded.

Initially a new response from a Contact is marked as requested.

If the required information to fulfill the request is already in the partition then the response status can immediately move to a status of ordered. If this information is not available, the Txt Service will stay at requested and the required information will be requested from the Contact.

Once the information is available the status will change to ordered and the request can be fulfilled.
