Insert Element

An element is a special type of template that can insert a section of reusable content. For example, a section with company contact details, or a table that is commonly used for layout.

Once an element has been inserted, it can be edited in the WYSIWYG editor in the normal way.

To insert an element

  1. From the WYSIWYG editor tool bar, click the Insert Element / Catalogue Item WYSIWYG - Insert Element / Catalogue Item button.
  2. From the list displayed, click Insert Element.
  3. The Insert Element dialog will be launched.
  4. A list of available template Elements are displayed on the left side the dialog. Click the element you would like to insert.
  5. A preview of the Element will be displayed in the Preview Element area on the right side of the dialog.
  6. Click the Insert button to insert the Element. It will be visible in and can be edited from the WYSIWYG editor.
