Insert Flash Document

You can use the WYSIWYG editor to insert a flash document into your document.

If you need to upload a flash file, you should add this as an attachment before inserting it.

To insert a flash document

  1. From the WYSIWYG editor tool bar, click the Insert/Edit Flash WYSIWYG Editor - Flash button.
  2. The Flash Properties dialog will be launched displaying the Info tab.
  3. In the URL text box enter the URL to the flash document you wish to insert.
  4. In the Width text box type the width in pixels for the flash document.
  5. In the Height text box type the width in pixels for the flash document.
  6. Click the Advanced tab.
  7. From the Scale list click the scale option you would like to use for this flash document. Choose one of
    • Show All
    • No Border
    • Exact Fit

This will add the Scale attribute to the flash document's HTML embed tag. If you are unsure which one to use you, this can be left at the default blank option. In this case the Scale attribute will not be added to the embed tag.

  8. Click the flash options that you would like for this document. For most purposes the default options are suitable.
  9. The ID, Advisory Title, CSS Class and CSS Style text boxes will add additional attributes to the HTML that is added. In most cases these can be left blank.
  10. Click the OK button to insert the flash document.

You can return to the flash properties dialog by right-clicking on the flash document in the WYSIWYG and clicking Flash Properties.
